π Integration Keys
Before integrating with Amwal, ensure you have access to your Sandbox and Production API keys. These are required to configure and authenticate your environment.
π Getting Started with Amwal Integration
To access your integration keys and begin setup:

Go to the Amwal Merchant Dashboard
This is your central hub for managing stores and integrations. -
Log In or Sign Up
Use your merchant credentials or create a new account. -
Create a Store or Select an Existing One
You can either set up a new store or choose from your existing stores. -
Navigate to the Integration Tab
Your API keys and integration options will be available here.
π§ͺ Sandbox Keys
Test EnvironmentSandbox keys are used in a test environment β no real money is involved.
In the Integration tab of your store, you'll find a Sandbox Key available to copy.
You can use this key as your merchant-id
in the Amwal platform to test services and simulate transactions.

Test CardsWhen using the Sandbox Key, make sure to simulate the payment flow with our Test Cards
π Production Keys
To obtain your Production Key for live transactions:
- Click βGo Liveβ in your store to begin the activation process.
- Fill out the required form with your business details.
- Amwal will review your submission and send an email with either:
- β Approval
- π Additional actions required
- Once approved, a new Production Key field will appear in the Integration tab.
You can copy this key and use it as your
merchant-id
in your Amwal Live configuration.
Go LiveUsing Production Key require using the same domain provided in the "Go Live" form.
π Secret API Keys
- You need the Secret API Key to use the API for custom integration and access the server-side refund feature.
- You can find the Secret API Key directly below the Sandbox Key in the Amwal Merchant Dashboard.
